Blog #60 – Day 60 Review

Welcome to Day 60 of the Wellbeing 9-a-Day blog! Today sees me reach the end of the second phase of my Wellbeing 9-a-Day Journal and this blog writing fundraiser for Live Well with Cancer. In today’s blog, I look back on my journey so far, and look forward to the final 30 days of this challenge.

Looking Back

Over the past 60 days, I have been building daily habits to boost my wellbeing, while publishing a daily blog about my experiences with the #W9AD.

My Wellbeing 9-a-Day goals have developed during my time with the journal, with each now having multiple parts. These habits are all boosting my wellbeing in different ways, and I have been able to hit all my goals for 10 days straight now – a goal I set myself at my Day 50 review.

Overall, I am really happy with how I have been progressing with my journal. I have built a range of daily habits that are boosting my wellbeing, whilst finding time for work and pleasure.

For the past 30 days of this blog, I have focused on the habits contained within Your Journey, Your Fitness, and Your Relationships, spending 10 days on each so that I could go into more depth and build on the content covered in the first 30 days.

Writing a blog each day has been a major challenge, and I am glad that I am now two thirds of the way towards being done.

Looking Forward

Now that I have 30 days left of my journal and my blog writing challenge, it is time for me to look forward to the finish line and plan what is left of my journey.

As I have been able to hit all my goals for the past 10 days, it is time for me to increase my targets for each of the Wellbeing 9-a-Day. While I will start this in my journal tomorrow, I will go into more detail in my next nine blogs, where I will look at the lessons I have learned from each of the habits in turn.

For blogs 71-80, I am going to delve deeper into the Hero’s Journey, something that I believe is invaluable both for storytelling and creating change in life. By looking at each of the stages, I hope to explore a theory that can help us on our journeys towards transformed wellbeing.

I will then be 10 days away from the end of my journal and blog writing challenge, a Hero’s Journey of my own that has been much more challenging that I thought it would be!

Call to Action!

If you can, please show your support for this campaign by donating to my JustGiving page. Now two thirds thorough my challenge, I am three quarters of the way to my target of £1,000. Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated by me and everyone at Live Well with Cancer, who will use the money to empower anyone affected by cancer to improve their health and wellbeing.

This blog was written as part of a 90-day blog writing fundraiser for Live Well with Cancer, a volunteer-led charity serving North Tyneside and the surrounding areas. If you enjoyed this blog, please show your appreciation by donating to my JustGiving page. Every penny raised from donations or sales of the journal will help deliver workshops, events and support groups that empower better health and wellbeing for those affected by cancer, including family, friends, carers, and healthcare workers.
